As a longtime fan of young adult literature, I often find myself wondering what happens to my favorite characters after the final page of their story. While many YA novels provide a satisfying ending, I can’t help but imagine where these characters would be as adults. Here are the top ten YA characters I’d love to see updated on now that they’re all grown up:

1. Harry Potter from the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling – I would love to see what Harry and his friends are up to now that they are adults. Are they still fighting the dark forces in the wizarding world, or are they living more peaceful lives?

2. Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins – After surviving the brutal Hunger Games, I wonder how Katniss is coping with her trauma and battling political corruption as an adult.

3. Percy Jackson from the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan – I am curious to see how Percy is navigating the responsibilities of being a demigod in the modern world as an adult.

4. Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling – Hermione’s intelligence and ambition make me wonder where she is now in her career and personal life.

5. Tris Prior from the Divergent series by Veronica Roth – I want to know how Tris’s bravery and selflessness have shaped her as an adult, and how she is coping with the aftermath of the war.

6. Augustus Waters from The Fault in Our Stars by John Green – Augustus’s charm and humor made him a memorable character, and I am curious to see how he continues to inspire others as an adult.

7. Mia Hall from If I Stay by Gayle Forman – Mia’s journey of love and loss was heart-wrenching, and I would love to see how she has healed and moved on as an adult.

8. Jonas from The Giver by Lois Lowry – Jonas’s courage and curiosity in discovering the truth about his society make me wonder how he is challenging the status quo as an adult.

9. Clay Jensen from Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher – Clay’s compassion and resilience in unraveling Hannah’s story make me curious about how he continues to advocate for mental health awareness as an adult.

10. Eleanor from Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell – Eleanor’s strength and vulnerability in navigating her difficult home life make me wonder how she has found happiness and stability as an adult.

As a fan of these characters and their stories, I would love to see updates on where they are now as adults. The journeys they have been on in their youth have shaped them into the people they are today, and I am hopeful that they are thriving and finding fulfillment in their adult lives. Whether they are still fighting battles or living quiet, contented lives, I would love to revisit these characters and see how they have grown and changed over the years.
