As an avid reader, there are always book series that I want to catch up on but never seem to find the time for. With so many new releases constantly hitting the shelves, it’s easy for some series to get lost in the shuffle. However, there are ten book series that have been on my radar for a while now, and I am determined to finally catch up on them in the near future.

1. “Game of Thrones” by George R.R. Martin
I have been a fan of the “Game of Thrones” TV show for years, but I have yet to delve into the original book series by George R.R. Martin. With its intricate world-building and complex characters, I know I will be in for a thrilling ride when I finally start reading these books.

2. “Outlander” by Diana Gabaldon
I have always been intrigued by the premise of “Outlander,” a time-traveling romance set in 18th-century Scotland. With the series now spanning several books, I can’t wait to immerse myself in the world of Jamie and Claire and their epic love story.

3. “The Expanse” by James S.A. Corey
I have heard nothing but rave reviews about “The Expanse” series, a space opera set in a future where humanity has colonized the solar system. With its blend of science fiction and political intrigue, I know I will be in for a wild and thrilling ride when I finally start reading these books.

4. “Red Rising” by Pierce Brown
I have been meaning to start the “Red Rising” series for years now, ever since it was first recommended to me by a friend. With its dystopian setting and complex characters, I know I will be hooked from the very first page.

Brandon Sanderson is one of my favorite authors, and yet I have not yet started his epic fantasy series, “The Stormlight Archive.” With its intricate world-building and compelling characters, I know I will be in for a treat when I finally dive into this series.

6. “The Kingkiller Chronicle” by Patrick Rothfuss
I have been eagerly anticipating the final book in “The Kingkiller Chronicle” series for years now, and yet I still have not caught up on the first two books. With its lyrical prose and captivating storytelling, I know I will be in for a magical journey when I finally start reading these books.

7. “The Broken Earth” by N.K. Jemisin
N.K. Jemisin is a phenomenal writer, and her “Broken Earth” series has won numerous awards and accolades. With its unique world-building and powerful themes, I know I will be blown away when I finally start reading these books.

8. “The Witcher” by Andrzej Sapkowski
With the massive success of the Netflix adaptation of “The Witcher,” I have been meaning to start reading the original book series by Andrzej Sapkowski. With its dark and gritty fantasy world, I know I will be in for a thrilling and immersive reading experience.

9. “The Gentleman Bastard” by Scott Lynch
I have heard so many great things about the “Gentleman Bastard” series, a swashbuckling adventure featuring a group of lovable rogues. With its clever plotting and sharp wit, I know I will be in for a rollicking good time when I finally start reading these books.

10. “The Queen’s Thief” by Megan Whalen Turner
“The Queen’s Thief” series has been highly recommended to me by several friends, and yet I have not yet had the chance to read it. With its blend of political intrigue and fantasy elements, I know I will be captivated by this series when I finally start reading it.
